Missy, a favorite at the sanctuary, she is a lovely horse who is constantly attached by the hip to Amanda. She was badly abused & beaten, thus had very little trust in people - but after a lot of patience and hard work, Amanda has given this gorgeous horse a 2nd chance at life and has regained her trust, turning her into an outgoing and beautiful mare.
Rescued alongside another Horse up for adoption ,Marley; we were informed by another rescue about the state they were in (Body mass of 0%) and rescued both horses & for over a year now we have worked towards helping them regain trust and their health.
Karma the rescued mum, from New Plymouth - She lived off muesli bars, bread & whatever else she could find. She is the grandmother of everyone here - we are unsure of her age.
The loveliest rescue... Ginger! He welcomes everyone who steps onto the sanctuary, wrapping around your legs, climbing onto your lap, curling up in your arms. The son of Karma, sponsor this beautiful boy today!
This is Winston (Winnie) - he was born with bowed legs, and was sadly about to be drowned... so we took him home & since then he has been turned away from puppy schools, groomers & dog trainers purely because of his bowed legs. The sweetest most attention seeking old dog you could ever meet - sponsor Winnie & in return receive endless love today.
Betty (or Cookie-monster) the VERY friendly sheep - while the other sheep munch on grass, Betty comes over for cuddles & feed.
This is Winchester, the friendliest Goat who roams our sanctuary - he's a character, often on his hind legs up trying to get the juiciest leaves of our trees or following Amanda around. He may have huge horns but this guy wouldn't hurt a fly, if you're wanting to sponsor an interesting animal here at our sanctuary - then this is the one!
Our 20+ very friendly & very talkative ducks that wander freely around the farm, comprised of Mallards, Paradise ducks and more.
The friendly chicken "Henny-Penny" (who thinks she's a duck... or a cat... or a dog - depending on who she's around) & often joins us inside during our very important meetings.
Animals up for Sponsorship
$5-$10 per month you can sponsor an rescue animal! Great gift idea for children, animal lovers and anyone who would love to help out and sponsor rescued animals. The reason these animals are up for sponsorship not adoption is due to several reasons (age, health, special needs etc).

If you're interested in sponsoring any of our animals, please get in touch with us today! We appreciate all of the support.
